We received a call from a client in Key West, the home of Ernest Hemingway and wandering chickens, asking for our expertise in develop a new concept.
We had worked with him to create a series of Key West inspired graphic shirts and caps and he wanted to open a shop and create a brand with the quaint feel of the vintage keys.
Tucker’s Provisions was the name, and we developed a logo (with signature wandering rooster) private label products and packaging. Simultaneously, we began work designing and renovating a former pizza restaurant on Duval Street turning it into the “original” Tuckers Provisions, bringing back all the charm of old Florida.
Guests who shop the store are offered a cold beer or icy soda from the vintage cooler. Mens, women’s and children’s wear is shown on antique inspired fixtures. An extensive range of sunglasses is shown in a turn of the century five and dime showcase.
The Tucker’s Provisions brand has been met with rave reviews and is poised for expansion into a other tourist towns across the U.S.
